Commercial Driving is a free training program that helps unemployed New Yorkers pass the New York State Commercial Driving License (CDL) road test and work as a commercial driver.

The training consists of one week of full-time classroom instruction and an additional 40 hours of behind-the-wheel training. Upon obtaining their CDL Class B and completing the program, graduates are connected to a variety of jobs that move people and products throughout the city. Examples include driving a school bus, coach bus, and trucks.
