Coronavirus (COVID-19) Alert
For the health and well-being of older adults, all senior centers are closed. Senior center group programming and activities are cancelled until further notice.
Senior centers are no longer providing grab-and-go meals or direct meal delivery.
You can get information about where and how to get food, including possible GetFoodNYC home delivery, on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resources and Support page.
If you are already receiving meals through the Department for the Aging’s Home Delivered Meals program and need to submit feedback or a complaint, go to the Home Delivered Meals for Seniors page.
Community-based organizations provide hot or other appropriate nutritional breakfast and lunch to seniors 60 years old and older in a group setting.
If you are a senior and you live with a younger spouse or people with disabilities, you may bring these guests to meals. Voluntary contributions are accepted from seniors and guests.
If you or your guests are already covered for the meal cost by another government program, you will be charged for the meal at the community-based organization.
Use Site Finder to search for a Senior Center. Contact them by phone. If you get the voicemail system, leave a message with your contact information and you'll get a call back.
