Alternate Side Parking Schedule (through 9/15)
- Through July 25: ASP in effect
- July 27 - August 2: ASP suspended
- August 3 - August 14: ASP in effect
- August 15: ASP suspended for Feast of the Assumption
- August 17 - September 5: ASP in effect
All other parking rules remain in effect.
Parking meters also remain in effect throughout the City except on Sundays. On Sundays, ASP is not in effect and you don't have to pay parking meters.
ASP Reform Rules
On days when ASP is in effect, residential streets will not be cleaned more than once a week on each side.
If a side of a street has an ASP sign showing multiple days, street cleaning regulations will be in effect on that side of the street only on the latest day posted on the sign.
For example, if the ASP sign says the side of the street is cleaned on Mondays and Thursdays, you only have to move your car from that side of the street on Thursday.
There are no changes to:
- Streets that have just one day of ASP regulations on each side
- Commercial streets or metered areas

These new ASP reform rules will continue through Labor Day when ASP is in effect. The City will assess cleanliness conditions throughout the summer to decide whether to extend or modify the new rules after Labor Day.
You can report a street sweeper that did not follow a posted schedule or did not clean a street properly. This includes reports of parked cars that are blocking street sweeping operations during posted times.
Only reports about streets with posted alternate side parking (ASP) regulations are accepted. In order to make a report, you must provide the ASP days and time.
Reports are not accepted:
- Before or during the posted ASP time period
- When sweeping operations are stopped due to holidays, weather-related conditions, or other reasons.
There are no street cleaning (alternate side parking) regulations on Sundays. Complaints are not accepted on Sundays.
Call 311 to report missed or inadequate street cleaning.
What Happens Next
The Department of Sanitation responds to this type of report within 1 to 2 business days.
